Putin congratulates Lukashenko again

Minsk, 8 April. Russian President Vladimir Putin phoned Aleksandr Lukashenko on April 8 to congratulate him once again on re-election and on inauguration for a new term, said the Belarusian leader's press office.
The two leaders discussed "certain aspects" of bilateral relations.
Mr. Lukashenko took the oath of office on the same day. Later in the day the Council of Ministers announced its resignation. Under the Constitution, Mr. Lukashenko is to appoint a new prime minister and ministers.
